LOCATION
Silverstone is located on the A43 in Northamptonshire, 8km (5 miles) from Towcester and 9km (7 miles) from Brackley and Buckingham.

It is easily reached by two motorways - The M1, nearest junction 14 miles and the M40, nearest junction 15 miles and the A5 trunk route. These give fast links to the various principal airports serving the area.


From The South: Take the M40 and exit at Junction 10. Join the A43 signposted to Northampton. Silverstone is signposted from the A43. Take the M1 and exit at Junction 15a. Follow signs for the A43 to Oxford. Silverstone is signposted from the A43.


From The North: Take the M40 and exit at Junction 10. Join the A43 signposted to Northampton. Silverstone is signposted from the A43. Take the M1 and exit at Junction 15a. Follow signs for the A43 to Oxford.



PARKING:
On Sunday, the parking at the circuit is only permitted if you have the correct parking pass for your car. Such parking passes can be purchased in advance (contact us), and are only available if you buy tickets for the Grand Prix through us.  Please note that if the parking pass is not  correct, you will have a fixed penalty of £25.


AIRPORTS

The nearest  International airports are London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Birmingham.



TRAIN

The nearest train stations are at Banbury, Northampton and Milton Keynes.

BUS

Bus Transfer from Central Milton Keynes Station (on Sunday only). Tickets must be booked in advance and are available online at : www.megabus.com.


Bus Transfer from Junction 13 Milton Keynes Coachway (on Sunday only) Another option is to take a National Express coach to Milton Keynes M1, Junction 13 Coachway. Bus transfers onwards to Silverstone take approximately 40 minutes and will be running every half an hour, with return journeys back to Milton Keynes at the end of the race. Book your tickets in advance online at : www.megabus.com.


Bus Transfers from Northampton Rail and Bus Station (during the 3 days). Stagecoach will be operating a ‘turn up and go’ service from both Northampton Rail and Bus stations. This will run approximately every half an hour over all three days of the event. Tickets can not be booked in advance, but can be purchased on the day.
