The Silverstone circuit is situated out-of-town between Towcester and Brackley, at close distance from major airports like London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, and Luton.

This spectacular track is very flat mainly consisting of a series of long straights connected by fast, open corners. A number of modifications have been made to the corners around the Grand Prix circuit to add extra interest, and more overtaking and viewing points.
